Amazon India has confirmed the schedule for Prime Day 2025, announcing a 72-hour members-only sale beginning July 12 at 12:00 AM and concluding July 14 at 11:59 PM. The event features exclusive discounts, new product launches, and strategic delivery enhancements aimed at improving the customer experience.
Prime Day is Amazon’s signature annual sale for Prime subscribers, showcasing a wide range of product launches and time-sensitive deals across categories. This year, Amazon is extending the duration to three full days, giving members more time to shop and save.
In a media statement, Akshay Sahi, Country Head of Amazon Prime India, described Prime Day as a nationwide event tailored to reward loyal subscribers through expanded offers and faster deliveries.
To support the anticipated surge in demand, Amazon has rolled out 30 new delivery stations in tier-2 and tier-3 cities including Panchkula, Nagpur, and Mohali. These hubs are expected to enhance last-mile efficiency and reduce delivery timelines.
Abhinav Singh, Vice President of Operations for Amazon India and Australia, noted that this infrastructure expansion aligns with the company’s goal to scale capacity and ensure timely deliveries during high-demand periods such as Prime Day.
